OUT FOR BLOOD TEAM - BIKE RIDE FOR BLOOD CANCER RESEARCH

Join Chicago Blood Cancer Foundation’s “Out For Blood” Team for the North Shore Century Bike Ride on Sunday, September 18, 2011 and raise money for lymphoma, leukemia, and myeloma research.

Maximum Impact For Dollars Raised: Every dollar raised by or donated to “Out For Blood” riders will go to blood cancer research at leading Chicago area medical research institutions!

Scenic, Enjoyable, Family Friendly Bike Ride: This is a non-competitive ride where riders can choose from a variety of routes: 25-mile; 50-mile; 62-mile; 75-mile, and 100-mile. You can ride 1 mile or ride 100 miles! The North Shore Century has earned a reputation of being a quality and well-organized event over the past 27 years.

No Registration Fee For The First 50 Riders To Register On-Line: Chicago Blood Cancer Foundation is underwriting the registration fee for the first 50 riders committed to our cause who register on-line for the "Out For Blood" Team.

Thank You Incentives: "Out For Blood" Team members and "Virtual Vampire" Team Members who raise $100 or more are qualified to receive a t-shirt and those raising $350 or more also will receive the coveted "Out For Blood" Jersey. Apart from participating in a scenic and fabulous ride, your efforts will support blood cancer research.

Chicago Blood Cancer Foundation will have an on-site greeting area for "Out For Blood" Team members. Free refreshments will be available at the registration area before you begin your ride.

Time and Location: The ride begins at 6 a.m. on Sunday morning, with flexible start times. Century, Diamond Century (70 miles), and Metric-Century (62 miles) riders must register by 9:00 a.m. All others may register until 11:00 am, at which time registration closes. There is no fixed start time. You may begin to ride as soon as you have finished registration.

Riders must complete the ride by 6 p.m. The ride will start at Dawes Park 1700 Sheridan Road (between Church Street and Clark), Evanston, IL.

Non-riders Are Urged To Participate As Well: Non-riders may support our cause by forming on-line “Virtual Vampire" Teams and qualify to earn t-shirts and jerseys.
